Gave that $50 AI writing tool a shot for a month and it churned out a blog post about 'quantum yoga'

Lost 4 hours trying to fix the nonsense before I gave up and wrote it myself, has anyone else found these tools useless for anything technical?

Quantum yoga sounds about right for those things, they just mash words together and have no clue about actual technical concepts. A monkey on a keyboard would be more useful for anything that needs real knowledge.

Oh totally, I once asked one of those things to write a joke and it explained quantum mechanics back to me instead.

Did it actually explain it in a way that made sense or did it just throw a bunch of buzzwords around? I'm wondering if the joke itself was even remotely funny on the first try or if it just gave you a straight up lecture instead. Those models have this habit of acting like they're experts on everything even when they clearly have no clue what they're talking about. It's almost like they're programmed to sound smart rather than be useful.
