Am I the only one who flipped on AI art after seeing it copy a friend's style?

I used to think AI art tools were just cool new tech for making pictures. Then I saw one spit out images that looked exactly like my pal's unique drawing style, no credit given. Now I'm stuck, should we call that theft or just how machines learn?

Watched a close friend who does these amazing ink drawings get shown an AI gallery that looked just like her work. She got real quiet for a minute, then just closed the laptop. The thing is, she'd never posted those specific sketches online, just similar ones. It felt less like learning and more like someone took her handwriting to write a different letter. Really changed how I see the whole thing.

Ugh, that's the creepiest part. It's not even copying the finished art, it's learning the actual hand movement. Like stealing the way someone breathes.
