A mod on an AI art forum told me my prompts were lazy, so I started writing my own descriptions first
About 5 months ago I posted some AI art in a Discord server and one of the mods left a comment that stung: "you're just typing vibes and hitting go." I was mad for like a day, but they were right. I was copy pasting prompts I found online and never writing down what I actually wanted the picture to look like. So I changed my process, now I write 3 or 4 plain sentences describing the scene in my own words before I even touch the AI tool. The photos I generate look way more like the idea in my head, and honestly the ethics side sits better with me too since I'm not just scraping somebody else's wording. The weird part is the mod who roasted me now asks me for prompt tips, lol. Has anyone else had a random internet person's criticism actually make them better at working with these tools?
