Warning: My AI art experiment got flagged by the gallery's submission bot

Last month I spent about 6 hours generating a series of landscape pieces using Midjourney for a local art show in Portland. I thought I was being clever blending the outputs with my own hand-painted textures. But the submission system auto-rejected my entry because it detected the AI patterns in the metadata. Has anyone else run into this problem with physical galleries having their own detection software?

Oh man, that's such a bummer. I had a similar thing happen but with a different twist. A local craft fair rejected my handmade pottery because their software flagged my glaze recipe as matching a commercial database. The whole thing ended up being a mess of emails back and forth with the organizer. They couldn't even tell me what software they used or how to appeal the decision. I just gave up and put the pots on Etsy instead. It's crazy how these automated systems get so picky about things they don't fully understand.
