That $40 monthly Midjourney subscription just paid off for a client gig
I dropped $40 on a Midjourney subscription three months ago just to mess around, and last week it landed me a $500 logo design contract. Has anyone else had a paid tool suddenly justify its cost out of nowhere?

Wait till you have 3 months of $40 subs and nothing to show for it. That's the real gamble here. You got lucky once but that doesnt mean it's a smart move long term. Most people paying for these tools are just burning cash on hype and never see a cent back. You could have learned basic GIMP or Inkscape for free and done the same job.
