Sat through a 3 hour AI art panel and realized I've been prompting like an idiot

I went to a local meetup in Portland last week where some guy named Marcus showed his workflow for AI art. He literally just typed "a cat in a spaceship" and got something that looked better than my stuff after 20 detailed prompts. Turns out I've been overcomplicating everything with all these technical terms and weights, when the models actually work better with simple language. Has anyone else found that simpler prompts actually give more consistent results?
