Eighty bucks stings when you're counting on it. Worked double shifts all week to cover my rent and car insurance, and losing that much on something that ended up being useless would have me pissed for days. Feels like you got robbed for even signing up. Hope you at least got a refund or started a chargeback.

$80 is a nice dinner if you're eating at Applebee's with a coupon, sure. But when it's a regular Tuesday and you're already mentally budgeting for rent, that's not a "mildly annoying" amount, it's a "guess I'm eating ramen for a week" amount. I've had $80 disappear from my account before and it felt less like a minor inconvenience and more like someone punched me in the wallet. Maybe for some people it's pocket change, but for the rest of us it's a whole grocery trip or a tank of gas.
