Absolutely, that drives me up the wall. It's like people think if something is legal to use, then it's automatically okay to use it. Just because you can scrape a site doesn't mean you should, especially without asking. The ethics of where the data comes from is a whole different, and much harder, question.

Yeah but scraping sites is actually illegal a lot of the time.

Wait, scraping is actually illegal? I always thought it was just a jerk move. @zara_kelly27 is right that the ethics are the real problem though.
