Getting blocked on a project's mood board had me trying AI image mixers

I used to say AI art had no soul, but hitting a wall with visual themes really got to me. Playing with an mixer that blended my photos with styles opened up options I missed. Is it fair to use AI as a jump-start for your own work, or does that cross a line?

Use AI to spark ideas... still your work.

My last project outline came from a chat with an AI, but the final draft was all my own voice. @lindab49 is right that the spark is just a tool, not the work itself. You still have to build the fire.

Totally! It's like how we learn from other people's ideas too. @black.val calling it a spark makes me think of how even conversations with friends can light that same kind of fire.
