AI art prompt lockout saved my workflow, here's the trick

Last month I was stuck redoing the same cyberpunk portrait for 4 hours cause my prompts kept drifting, so I started locking the seed and base prompt then only tweaking one word at a time. That cut my redo time down to 15 minutes per version, and I actually finished a 12 piece series by Friday. Anyone else use a similar lock method or do you just brute force the generator until something clicks?

I locked my seed too after losing a whole afternoon to prompt drift on a neon cityscape. Now I keep the base prompt in a notes file and only swap the subject or color words one at a time, keeps the style consistent without the chaos.
